Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-02
These Terms govern your use of the hosted repowise Service at repowise.dev. The open-source distribution is governed separately by the AGPL-3.0 licence.
1. Account
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
2. Acceptable use
You may index repositories you own or have permission to analyse. You will not use the Service to (a) reverse-engineer or scrape it; (b) infringe third-party rights; (c) abuse our compute (mining, unrelated workloads); (d) circumvent rate limits or quotas; (e) probe or compromise our systems other than under a published security-research policy.
3. Plans & billing
Free tier covers public-repo indexing within published quotas. Paid tiers are billed monthly or yearly through our payment processor. Pro includes monthly LLM credits; additional credits can be topped up. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on 30 days' notice.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to source code and other content you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to clone, parse, embed, store, and process your content solely to provide the Service. We will not use your content to train any model.
5. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime on free or standard paid plans. Enterprise SLAs are available under a separate counter-signed agreement.
6. Termination
You may terminate at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose a security risk. On termination, see the retention & deletion section of the Privacy Policy.
7. Warranties & liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Our aggregate liability under these Terms is capped at the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to the extent permitted by law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which repowise is incorporated. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
9. Changes
We will post material changes to these Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
